SUNRISE BEACH (Post Code: 4567)
About Sunrise Beach – R&W Noosa Real Estate
Sunrise Beach is a suburb located just south of Sunshine Beach and is very similar in terrain and outlook. Sunrise Beach is located on a couple of ridgelines that overlook the Pacific Ocean. It has a few absolute beachfront properties – mainly along Tingira Crescent. This area features many small apartment complexes, houses and townhouses.
The majority of the suburb of Sunrise Beach rises to the west of David Low Way. Some excellent views both to the towards Sunshine Beach and to Mooloolaba are obtained from the properties here. This area is popular with holiday makers as it is a little quieter than either Noosa or Sunshine Beach.
Sunrise Beach is surrounded by low native bushland National Park to the West and is a very leafy suburb. Many properties have retained the native bush on their blocks ensuring Sunrise Beach blends into its surrounding environment.
Real Estate in Sunrise Beach has experienced some of the largest jumps in value in recent years, although growth has slowed a little to balance this increase. Many of the homes in Sunrise Beach have been built recently as the suburb is relatively young. Few blocks of land are now available.
The beach at Sunrise Beach is well known for surfing. It is not uncommon to see excellent sand banks created along this stretch and when this happens the waves meet the beach in well-formed sets. One thing to note though is that although this is a popular beach, it is not patrolled so families should swim elsewhere. There are some excellent views of the beach and ocean and beach protection zone from many homes and vantage points throughout Sunrise Beach and Castaways Beach.
Sunrise Beach has a small cafe and shop along the beachfront at Tingira Crescent and a modest shopping area in the North-West corner on Ben Lexcen Drive..
